Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Siliguri

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. Transfer to your hotel in Siliguri, the gateway to the Dooars region. Check-in and relax after your journey. Spend the evening exploring the local markets and trying some authentic Bengali cuisine.

Day 2

Siliguri to Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary

After breakfast, drive to Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary, known for its population of Indian one-horned rhinoceros. Check into your resort/hotel upon arrival. Enjoy a thrilling Jeep Safari in the afternoon to spot wildlife, including rhinos, elephants, and various species of deer. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Jaldapara to Gorumara National Park

Depart from Jaldapara after breakfast and head towards Gorumara National Park. Check into your hotel/resort upon arrival. In the afternoon, embark on a Jeep Safari in Gorumara National Park to explore its diverse flora and fauna, including the famous Asiatic one-horned rhinoceros, Indian elephants, and Bengal tigers. Spend the evening at leisure, enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings.

Day 4

Gorumara National Park

Start your day with an early morning Elephant Safari in Gorumara National Park, offering a unique opportunity to spot wildlife from up close. After breakfast, visit the Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary, an extension of Gorumara National Park, known for its rich biodiversity. Return to your accommodation for relaxation or optional activities such as birdwatching or nature walks. In the evening, you can enjoy cultural performances organized by your resort/hotel.

Day 5

Departure

After breakfast, check out from your hotel/resort in Gorumara. Drive back to Siliguri for departure. Depending on your departure time, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping or exploration. Transfer to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station for your onward journey, carrying wonderful memories of your Dooars adventure.

    • Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot).
    • Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.
